Villa Cheminée

Fantastic work of art within the itinerary through the Loire estuary. Although it is attached to a gigantic power plant, it is a beautiful area with a lot of nature, tranquility and various routes to walk. We traveled by motorhome and it is possible to park at its feet, there are also free visits on Sundays. We parked in a good shady place at the racetrack. It's very cool to do the complete route of works on both sides of the river and of course visit Nantes and complete it with the many artistic surprises that await us there. What a wonderful boy!!!!

Return to our visit to one of the works of the Estuaire Nantes Saint-Nazaire route. It was in Cordemais that we discovered the work of Tatzu Nishi, a charming little villa of 16m2 and its small garden placed on a reproduction of a chimney from the thermal power station at a height of 15 meters. My dog was allowed to go up there on the condition of remaining in my arms with the permission of the charming welcoming ladies to be posed to take the photos. This small villa can be rented from €135 per night, it is functional and furnished. It cannot be visited but you can see the inside very well from the outside. From its small garden, we especially appreciated the magnificent view of the Loire estuary. Leaving the chimney villa, we headed towards an orientation table which turned out to be fact sheets on the history of the old maritime canal, the Loire marshes, the front ports of Nantes, the construction naval base in Saint-Nazaire as well as its Atlantic port and its small estuary ports. A very pleasant outing that I recommend
